Lang Gives Back

As part of a thriving and vibrant jewelry community, Lang believes in doing what communities do—giving back. We established the Antique Jewelry University (AJU) online in 2004 for the purpose of creating a repository for all things relating to jewelry history. Appraisers, teaching facilities, jewelers and lovers of jewelry from all over the world use this informative resource.

And thank you for partnering with us in giving back to our larger community. For every purchase that you make, Lang donates $15 to charitable organizations that help meet the most pressing needs. Although we add others as the need arises or during months designated for specific charitable awareness, below is a list of our general 2022 donation organizations.

350 Bay Area

This environmental group works tirelessly to preserve our planet by reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from its current level of over 400 parts per million to below 350 ppm –a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

ALS Association

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that takes away the freedom of movement. The ALS Association leads the way in global research and helps 20,000 Americans living with ALS. Lang sponsored one of the organization’s members for a fundraising event this year.

Glide Memorial Church

GLIDE’s mission is to create a radically inclusive, just, and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization by addressing issues such as housing and homelessness, and racial and social justice.

Human Rights Campaign

Here at Lang, we feel privileged to help diverse couples of all kinds find their perfect commitment jewelry and gifts to express their love for one another. Each June Pride Month, a portion of our donations go to the Human Rights Campaign - a group making sure that all LGBTQ+ people are treated as full and equal citizens across our country and around the world.

The Trevor Project

As a business with close ties to the LGBTQ+ community--our employees, families, friends and clients--we are proud to publicly stand as allies. Every June - Pride Month here in San Francisco - Lang donates a portion of our proceeds to The Trevor Project, an exceptional organization working to prevent suicide of LGBTQ+ youth.

Ukrainian Aid

After the invasion of Ukraine, our Ukrainian business partners recommended that we direct our donation effort to The Polish Humanitarian Action @polskaakcjahumanitarna, whose team has, and is, working extensively to meet urgent needs such as distributing food, hygienic items, and other necessities.

Wildfire Relief Fund

Established by the California Community Foundation. Since 2002, this Los Angeles-based foundation has given more than $200 million in discretionary grants, impacting hundreds of thousands of lives and helping to transform entire communities, including those throughout the state that have been ravaged by annual wildfires.
